NURSING HOME ABUSE

fight for Nursing Home Patients' rights. Our Nursing Home Team have helped draft legislation, lobbied for reform,
and testified before both the State Legislature
and Congress.
Our Case Leaders, Fred Stapp and Tim Martin, are unusually well qualified and experienced trial lawyers in that they have extensively represented both plaintiffs and defendants.
Fred Stapp and Tim Martin have over 30 years experience handling medical and nursing home-related cases. Fred Stapp is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer. They are also active with the Nursing Home Task Force of The Florida Justice Association.
Mr. Stapp and Mr. Martin are primarily supported by Dirlie Gahafer, who in addition to being an attorney holds a master's degree in nursing. Mrs. Gahafer has 20 years of nursing experience, and has served as In-house Liability Claims Counsel and represented numerous nursing homes. She brings a wealth of knowledge regarding standards of care, operations and common nursing home defenses to assist our clients in recovery of compensation when they or a loved one has been abused or neglected at a nursing home. David Black is also a young associate working in this practice.
